When Giancarlo Montaldo, Editor in chief for BAROLO & CO asked me to write about the wines that “contain an adjective” the first thing I thought was: here is an opportunity for me to clarify between biological, organic wines, green, “natural”, “pulito” etc.
Although I work on wine’s promotion I’ve to admit that it’s not always easy to understand the differences between the many different rules, some of which are “self-control specifications”. Let alone for the consumer!
In this issue (No. 01/15 of the quarterly BAROLO & CO) I dealt the analysis of some statistical data: from both, domestic and international markets. I also analyzed the issue from the point of view of the allergens and wines “free“.
