For the planning of the next wine tour we visited the Alps few weeks ago. The mountain agriculture has always been full of challenges: short seasons, more cool temperatures, slopes difficult to grow. At the same time the Alps are rich in gastronomic treasures and unique wines.

It’s a variety of cheeses with different aromas and flavors. Not only Fontina and Bitto, in a few kilometers change the herbs of the pastures and making processes… and the variety of cheeses is almost endless.

The grape varieties such as Priè Blanc and Fumin produce unique wines. The Nebbiolo grapes cultivated on the Alps give rare wines such as Donnas or Sforzato.

The next AUTENTICO ITALIANO TOUR stops in Valle d’Aosta and Valtellina to discover gastronomic autochthonous wines, cheese and traditional recipes.
