The theme that I tackle in the last issue of Barolo&Co is the distribution of Italian wines in the Japanese market. I focus on the evolution of taste and consumption in the large urban area that includes Tokyo, Osaka and Yokohama, a single market of about 25 million inhabitants.

In addition to my personal sales experience, I have also employed and commented on the updated statistical data of “The International Wine and Spirits Magazine for The Trade in Japan” WANDS.
