Yes! We visited the winery Macchion dei Lupi, in Suvereto (Val di Cornia area).

The Tyrrhenian Sea is a few kilometers away, but this soil contains “lapilli“, magma drops that have solidified in contact with hot water sources, which sometimes emerge in the soil of this vineyard. A very unique combination of soil, sun exposition, micro-climatic condition. Carlo says “I want to obtain elegant wines; the biodynamic conduct of the vineyard leads me to use wisdom in every small intervention I make in the vineyard and also in the winery”.

Odyssea from the white Ansonica, Profeta from Merlot and the blend Esperienze : three wines to learn about this terroir and the vision of its founder.
