Barolo & Co, editorial meeting in January … we immediately noticed the positioning in the calendar of the first issue of the year. “We will leave two days after the closing of Prowein, and in full season of fairs”. A few lines and we all agree in setting the theme that I will have to face in my article: not only the wine fairs, but the whole world of professional and amateur events.
The contemporary winemakers have neither the time nor the economic resources to face them all. Which ones to choose? Trade shows or B2B? Participate in events to build a distribution network or privilege relationships with consumers?
